We want to make the world see and understand that this region is a great environment for the New Generation IT People, Technology and Innovations to reach their full potential.
We are also working hard to give innovative people, companies and organizations in the region the best possible support in turning their ideas into IT innovations and successful companies. This is done by using Uminova Innovation´s proven processes, models, tools and network and adjusting these assets to the specific needs of IT related innovations.
The initiative within Uminova Innovation is funded by Umeå Kommun, Umeå Universitet, Region Västerbotten, Västerbottens Läns Landsting and the European Union structural funds.

Uminova Innovation´s mission is to develop ideas into businesses. We work with innovative business ideas from students and employees from Umeå University, the regional hospital, and innovative people and companies throughout the region.
